This is a small, independent site about one Roblox game. It exists because every code list we checked was missing codes, or was missing the date it was last checked — usually both.
What this site is
Cat Battles Codes is an unofficial fan resource for Cat Battles, a physics brawler developed by Cute Malt Games and published on Roblox. It is run by one person, not a media company, and it is not affiliated with Cute Malt Games or Roblox Corporation in any way.
There are four pages: the code list, the eight abilities, furs and crates, and the controls and modes. That is the whole site. We would rather keep four pages accurate than publish forty pages of filler.
How the codes are checked
Every working code on this site has to clear three checks before it goes up:

It appears in the game itself. Codes are only listed as working if they can be redeemed in Cat Battles, not because a video title said so.

At least two independent sources agree on the reward. When sources disagree on how many Coins a code pays, we say so instead of picking the bigger number.

The date is recorded. Every code list carries a “last checked” date. If a page has not been rechecked, the date does not move.
The list is rechecked daily while the game is actively updating. When a code dies it is moved to the retired list with the date it stopped working, rather than being deleted quietly — a page that never admits a code expired is not a reliable page.
What this site will not do

Publish numbers nobody has. Cute Malt Games does not publish ability cooldowns, damage values or crate drop rates. You will not find invented percentages here, even though they would read well.

Guess at a code’s value. If two sources disagree, both figures are shown.

Cover scripts or exploits. Roblox scripts are against the platform’s terms and are not something this site touches.

Sell anything. There are no ads on this site, no affiliate links and no account to sign up for.
Corrections
If a code on this site does not work, the fastest fix is an email. Tell us which code and roughly when you tried it, and it gets rechecked the same day. Corrections are logged in the update log on the codes page so the change is visible rather than silent.
